I hate to admit this but.....

Yep you guessed it, Trace Adkins. Not only cause Im a big country fan but he's pretty funny. So last week when we were watching it Jordan told me about this song he sings. It sounded pretty funny and I had never even heard of it. So I decided to put it on my blog and talk about something other than baby. (Even though I love baby, its time) So ya I can't wait to watch celebrity apprentice tonight. I never in a million years thought I would like it. We started watching it due to the writers strick and our favorite shows (My Name is Earl, The Office, Greys {This one is not one of Jordans favorites it mine}) Any ways at first I liked the fight between Peirce and Steven Baldwin then Peirce and Amarosa. To be honest I was kinda sad she got fired cause I liked seeing what they would fight about next. And now Trace and Peirce. I thought it was funny when Trace said "Peirce wouldn't stab some one in the back with a knife he would stab them in the forehead." That one really made me laugh. Wow I can't believe I'm going on and on about a stupid show. But hey there are a lot of stupid shows I really like. Like, Sponge Bob Square pants, and Fairly Odd Parents. Oh and when I was pregnant I loved the baby shows on discovery health. That is weird cause I really hated the ones on tlc. And here is why. Tlc always shows easy births with little to no complications. Discovery Health shows each one was dedicated to a complication. I made Jordan watch them with me on labor day and he said never again.



Anyways its almost 4am and Parker still isn't going back to sleep so I guess I should go rock him and see if I can get him to go to sleep. Hope you all have a fantastic day. And be sure to watch Celebrity Apprentice. GO TRACE!!!!!!!

Parker has been such a happy boy despite being congested. As shown here in the past few pics. Jordan was playing with him on the floor last night and I had to take some pics. We went for a walk yesterday down on the river trail in Provo. We went two miles and he slept pretty much the whole time. So that is what the pics in the slide show are. Hope you enjoy all the pics.

Parker looks a little out of this one. But I thought it was soooo cute. I love his little outfit. He doesn't have many red ones so ya. It's a little baseball sleeper that says Dad's Team. I told Jordan to smile but he just was co-operating. Oh well! I always do that and erase pics. I had another one almost exactly like this one but a funnier face. Oh well Im to lazy to put it back on there.





We went outside the other day. It looked nice but the wind was blowing a bit. I laid out a blanket and Parker fell right to sleep. I couldn't even wake him up. Not even when I set him in the crib. He slept till it was time to eat and then fell right back to sleep. I can't wait till it gets warm all the time and we can go out alot more. I wish I would have taken advantage of yesterday, cause I guess its suppose to get cold. Oh well

So I had a pretty long night last night. Parker just couldn't breath very well thru that stuffy nose so he was up like every hr and when he wasn't crying he was obviously not asleep cause he was squirming every which way in his bouncer and you could just hear the snot in his nose. After several attempts at the saline and suction we got a little snot out. But obviously he had a lot in there. Any ways since it was a long night and Parker liked to sleep on me (I think he could breath better) I looked up some fun animal pics. This was one of them. I think it hilarious. Who knew I could get so much laughter froma silly monkey.


Anyways back to Parker. The poor thing didn't sleep well. I finally got a good amount of snot out of him by taking him into the bathroom when I showered and the doing the saline thing shortly after. Needless to say he is breathing much better now. Hopefully he is on the road to recovery. These are some cute pics I just took of him. I put him down on the boppy thinking that he could get some good tummy time. He was wide awake when I set him down. In a matter of min. he was out like a light bulb. I never thought I would ever see him asleep on his tummy unless it was on mom and dads chest. He absolutely


hates tummy time. Well he is starting to like it more. He actually was happy for 1 min the other day. The crying starts the min I put him on his tummy. I love sleeping babies. They are so cute, and it usually means that I get to sleep too.

So whats been going on here. I haven't been happy with work the past few days. That is pretty sad considering I haven't worked in six weeks. Im kinda dreading going back to be honest. Oh well ya gotta do what ya gotta do right? Other than that not much has been happening. The weather is nice and we have taken Parker for a few walks. Those are a lot of fun. He likes to suck on the zipper of his jacket. He laughs a smiles alot more lately, oh and coo's a ton. I actually think he may have dimples. He also loves watching his mobile. Moms a little sad cause it doesn't last to long, its a whined(sp?) up one.

This is the outfit he wore to church yesterday. It is sooo adorable.
I even combed his hair even thoug you can't see it in these pics. Although he did spit up on the collar before we even got to church. We went up to Jordans parents ward. Jordans brother Gary is home from Iowa so we went and visited. It was alot of fun. Parker enjoyed himself. I saw him smile alot. Even though he did leak/pee on his grandma. That was my bad I was distracted when I was changing him and didn't do a very good job. Sorry Jess no pics of my hair. For some reason I don't like being in pics. OH ya that is right I just had a baby six weeks ago and feel like a COW. hehehehe. Well I don't have many up dates, oh I guess I could up date how he is sleeping. Last night he slept clear to three am. I was sooooo shocked. I thought he would wake up a lot earlier than that cause he last ate at 8:30pm. He was STARVING when he woke up though I could hear his little belly growling. But I could barely get him to eat three oz before he was right back to sleep and slept till 6 am. Needless to say I was one happy mother. Well that is it for now.

Ok so hopefully this works. I was playing around with the camera yesterday and took some video of Parker he was playing in his crib. Well playing as best as Parker could. He was just talking up a storm. I didn't get there in time to get the really good stuff and it seems like he got a bit camera shy. Oh well it is cute anyway. He is getting cuter by the min. and bigger too. At the dr.'s a week or so ago he weighed 8lb 12oz. I swear he feels like he weighs a lot more than that. He has his ups and downs with sleeping at night but I am hopeful that he will be on some kind of routine by the time I go back to work on april 27th. Which is almost 6 weeks away. If he's not on a good sleeping schedule Im not sure how that will work. I guess I will be sleeping during the day before work. Thankfully I only work at most 3 nights on weekdays. I am excited to go back to work but know that will be short lived. I know I will start work and the girls there will drive me crazy and I will be missing Parker and Jordan.

I got my hair cut yesterday. That was a lot of fun. It is not to my shoulders and there is really now way I could pull it into a pony tail. That was my goal. I was getting pretty dang lazy as far as my hair goes so now I kinda have to do it. Hopefully it won't drive me crazy, which I am sure it won't.

Well that's all the news here in Provo. Well for the Nelson family anyways.

Finally got his room done. Even the drawers are now in the dresser. Its so nice to finally be done. As soon as he gets over being sick he will be sleeping in his own crib. For now it's the bouncer in our room by the humidifier.

So its has been an adventure this week. Parker was sick with a fever on thursday so we spent a few hrs at the dr office for that. The lady was not very nice nor helpful. He is feeling much better now just a little congested.

Ok so these pics are for Grandma Wilson. I decided I would try the overalls on him today. They are really big but super cute! so I took some pics and I even left them on him. He is a pretty happy boy today. He went shopping with me and slept the entire time. Well until we went to leave it was just his lunch time though.

Not so Fun Weekend!

Well thursday morning I woke with a sore throat. Friday I didn't feel so well so I spent most of the day in bed. That night is when it hit me hard. I got the chills, and when I finally got into bed and covered in blankets I sweat the rest of the night, and was in sooooo much pain. I thought my insides were going to pop out everytime I coughed. Thankfully it was the weekend so Jordan could take care of Parker the whole night. I don't think either of us really slept to well. Saturday I woke feeling better but not too well. Again that night I started getting the chills but thankfully the entire day I had been taking drugs. I was at least able to get up with my son since Jordan was exhausted from the night before. And then sunday I got the runny nose. That has not been fun either. I learned last night that if I sleep on the couch half sitting up with my head tilted then my nose was pretty clear and I could breath through it and my throat would stop hurting. That is until I would have to get up with Parker. But thankfully he slept really well. So hopefully I am past being sick and no one else catches it. Lets hope any ways. Jordans brother Jon came down to visit. That was a lot of fun. We felt really bad though cause we fell asleep just before he left. Well that is about all that happened this weekend. Pretty boring I know.
