It's boot weather!

and I've got the most in fasion boot there is!
Yep I broke my toe!
So I don't advise you to kick the door when you are angry or not. (I was not, Im just a little accident prone)
I was starting the water for pj's bath. I hadn't got him in yet when Paisley started crying. SO I thought I would run in and give her her bink so Jordan didn't have ot go all the way up stairs just for that. WEll on the way out my foot hit the door! Boy did it hurt I let out a yell and fell to the floor. Parker started crying of course and Jordan came running up. He was about to tell me not to be over dramatic when he saw the toe. It was pointing in the wrong direcion. I then had to decide what to do about it. Im not good at making those decision. (It took me for ever to make a final decision to go to the hospital when my water broke with Paisley) It was SOOOO painful to walk on so we found a sitter. (the neighbors, they are so amazing) And we headed off to the insta care. Thankfully it wasn't to busy and there weren't many sick people. They put me in a wheel chair and we joked and laughed about my misfortune and how medically we haven't been that lucky this year. They wheeled me back. Took my blood pressure and what not then the dr.

Then the PAINFUL xray! (did I mention Im grateful insta care does xrays? I am cause a visit to the er would be a $75 copay! OUCH!) It actually wasn't to bad till she had to set up the last xray. Its hard to explain what I had to do but lets just say I was laughing so I didn't cry! The whole time I had to pee. Got back into the room and the dr came in and said sure enough its broke. (toes aren't suppose to point side ways apparently) So he was telling us he was going to buddy tape it and giving us options. Saying something about pulling it to get it to come down. Then I got dizzy and felt like passing out. Well the next thing I remember was waking up to Jordan saying my name. Ok I remember a little bit about being passed out. It felt dark and I just kept thinking I needed ot get out. (where ever that was) and and everything was shaking. I guess thats cause I was shaking. It really freaked Jordan out. I on the other hand have passed out a few times. Not a fun experience cause you feel sick the rest of the day. And apparently the next day too. They got me laid down and finally taped my toes together. I wouldn't let them pull it, but really didn't want to pass out again.

We got home and our kids were all asleep and I got to go to bed after taking some ibuprophen. Thank goodness I still have that from my csection! Paisley was great she only woke up once last night and I was already up to take so tylenol!

I think I will be taking it easy today! Just chill on the couch as much as the kids will let me. Oh what fun it is to break a bone. SO I broke my 28 almost 29 year streak of no broken bones. Im greatful it was just a toe cause boy does that hurt!

GO GO GO GO GO GO!

A fun pic of Jordan feeding Paisley!

Ok this kid LOVES sticking things on his head. And posing for pix!
He's very proud of his art work!
He did this some time after getting up from his nap and 4pm. That is a two hr time span. And my question is "Where was I?". Who knows. I didn't even know he could use a pen this well. Oh well at least it wasn't my walls or furniture. I tried so hard to keep a serious face when I asked him what he did. I couldn't do it I busted out laughing. Which scared him I guess cause he started crying! hahahahahaha!
And finally you need to check out my facebook post. I posted a video of pj saying "gogogogogogo" and running about. Its pretty cute. He pretty much has done that almost nonstop since getting back from church on sunday.

6 Weeks and the BIG Helper!

Paisley turned 6 weeks yesterday! And this is her big helper!

Im horrible at taking pictures lately. Sorry they are all so blurry! Any way we get back from Albertsons yesterday and I left Sissy in her seat so she could finish her nap. Next time I look at her I see this!
Yep that is her bottle in the seat with her. I didn't put it there. Who could have done that? Yep it was her big helper!

And this is what it looked like with out the blanket.
And if that wasn't enough later on he tried to actually feed her. Notice the drops of formula all over her?

Things I can't live with out as a mother!

Because I don't have any new pix of the kids. I thought I would share some of my favorite things as a mother. Things that I feel I would have a hard time living with out.

1. Bottle

Not that kind of bottle hehehe

a baby bottle. And might I add a sippy cup! Parker LOVES his sippy cup and he only likes milk in it! We bought him a cup with a straw from the zoo that he drinks water out of.

2. Binkie!

yep I know alot of moms won't even let their children have one. But if it gets pj to bed with out tears and it stops the little one from crying Im all for it!

3. Swaddle Blanket!

This is Pj in his woombie (it needs to get fixed before I can really use it with Sissy) Its makes things so much easier. I am using an actual swaddle blanket with Sissy and it helps her sleep alot long. Other wise her crazy hands wake her up.

4. Bouncer

This is Pj sporting the bouncer for you all. It truely is a life savor when I need to take a shower or finish making dinner! Pj actually slept in it for the first month or so. Hence the flat head.

5. Mobile

We have one that is battery operated and has a remote. Worked wonders with Pj. Paisley doesn't care to much for it. She could take it or leave it right now.

6.Internet

This is how I spend my late nights waiting to make sure she is out. It will also be the death of me cause I stay up way later than I should playing on FB!

So now that you know some of the things that are keeping me sane I will head to bed.
Oh I almost forgot one other thing. The most important person that keeps me sane.

Yep that is right. Its JORDAN! I know you think you probably drive me crazy Jordan, but your amazing!

The ZOO!

Check out the whole gorilla family!
Sissy slept the whole time. Except the 15 min she took to eat. Well even then she pretty much slept too.
Checkin out the Bear!
Look Daddy! Ya Pj wouldn't get that close to it. I was busy feeding Sissy.
He wasn't a fan of sitting on this elephant but he did think it was fun. Oh and notice the crazy hair? He took a nap on the way there.
This wasn't at the zoo, but I thought it was cute and it was on the camera when I downloaded the pix.
Jordan has this week off. So far we have had LOTS of fun. Yesterday we walked to maverick to get a drink (right by the fire station mom) Today we went to the zoo. We have been looking forward to this since Jordans vacation got pushed back a week! Pj really had a lot of fun. And so did Jordan and I! He got all excited and pointed at everything. Maybe next year he will know more of the animals and the sounds they made. We were afraid he would bark at them all. ( he thinks all animals bark) but he didn't he just got excited and pointed and said "Whats that?" Well the girls awake and hungry. LATER!

One Month!

This is a flower head band I made Sissy. As you can see she has some growing to do! hehehe
She is one month already. Can you believe its been ONE month already. I can't! Im not ready for this one to grow up like her brother is! Its not fair how fast time flies by once you get older! As much as I HATE sleepless nights, I LOVE it when they are little and cuddly like this. Today she had a bit of a yelling match. She seemed like she was starting to cry but just ended up doing a little yellling instead. I am getting really excited for her blessing on suday. Remember to come early if you are coming cause the church will have alot of people. Not because we know alot of people that are coming to see Paisley (Jordan does have a pretty big family though) but because this ward has ALOT of babies. I don't even know how many nursery classes it has. She has changed quite a bit in just one month. She is a bit fatter! She goes 4 hr stretches between feedings at night. Im hoping that will go to 5hrs soon. She coo's (sp?)! She gets LOTS of kisses from her big brother! And she LOVES tummy time. Well alot better than Pj ever did. She holds her head up a little better than she did.

19 Months!

Yesterday my boy turned 19 months old. Can you believe it? I really can't! He is such a ham most days.

Today we went out back and played in the neighbors pool!

It was such a blast. Peter kept stealing Parkers balls and Pj would chase after him. It was the cutest thing to watch.

It's so funny how Pj gets in and out of the pool, just like he would go up or down the stairs.

This is Peters hat. Pj thought it was hot out and decided to get it wet and put it on his head.

The hat beofre it was wet! And before Pj decided it was ok to get into the pool.

Now this was a bit earlier in the day. He somehow got his arm out of the hole and was all sorts of upset that he couldn't get it back in. Of course being the GREAT mother that I am I had to take a pic first.
So whats so different about a 19 month old. Well he is very opinionated and Im sure that will get better and better. NOT looking forward to the teenage years for that one. He now says tickltickletickletickle as he is tickling Paisleys feet. He loves to go up and just kiss her on the head at random times throughout the day. HE sleep in a big boy bed. (which is a blessing and not so much of a blessing. it took him 2 hrs to go down for a nap yesterday.) He LOVES balls. All animals say "woof woof" and cars say "vroom vroom" He says "dada" all the time. Unless he is whining and now he says "mamama" for that. He insists on having milk in his sippy cup and nothing else. He especially wants it when ever Sissy is eating. And it has to be right then NO waiting. He's my little tornado and i've pretty much given up on having a clean house. Whats the point in trying to keep the toys picked up. Jordan has threatened to take all his toys to his bed room. But whats the point in that he will just drag them all down the stairs. Then we will have toys on the stairs too. And We all know the hazards of toys on the stairs. (don't we Jordan?)
He does all sort of things besides that but I need a nap. So enjoy the pix and happy 19months Pj!

4 Weeks!

This pic was taken just a few days shy of four weeks. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. She is getting bigger. She actually fits in new born clothes. And it strange she has very distinct cries for different things. Her I have gas cry is very different from her Im hungry cry. And as I mention on FB she has started cooing. Not alot but its such a cute thing to hear. I LOVE it. She is now going 4 hr stretchs at night before she eats. I just wish she would sleep for all of the 4 hrs. So I sneak to bed early to get a little extra sleep. thank you so much Jordan you are AWESOME!
