2 week appt.

Parker had his two week appt today. Every thing looks good. He now weighs 7lbs 11oz and is 21in long his head is 36.5cm. Not sure what it was at birth. The poor thing had to do a blood test thing and it looked like it sucked there were a bunch of circles on the paper and the nurse had to pretty much fill each circle. He cried the whole time, even before she poked him. I think he knew what was coming. He was pretty good for the rest of it except he threw up all over. Oh well. His cord was a bit wet so I get to start cleaning it with alcohol. Hurray, I just can't wait for it to fall off. It will make bath time so much easier. Well that is pretty much the update for Parker. I hope you all enjoyed.

Another pic or two

I left this one for Jordan to post but I don't think he likes it that much so I will post it for him. I love it, and think it is soooo adorable. But I get to see this pretty much every night. For some reason he won't go to bed for daddy. Jordan puts him to bed on nights he works the next day and I take care of him the rest of the night. So I go to bed around 10pm and then I try to wake up around 1am to see if he has gone to bed. So far this week he hasnt he fusses everytime Jordan puts him to sleep. Unfortunately I am a slacker and the last two nights I have slept till like 2am. And then feed Parker and he is usually out by 3am, and sleeps till like 6am. Then I am up pretty much for most of the morning till the afternoon nap. Sorry you probably don't want to hear my schedule. I am how ever getting better at guitar hero. I play it for like 15-30 min after Parker falls asleep to make sure he is good and out so I don't have to keep getting up and down. Ok so I mostly just wanted to share this really cute pic. Parker has his two week appt tomorrow. I wonder how much weight he has gained. Oh I weighed myself and I lost 24lbs. That puts me very close to my pre-pregnancy weight. I have like ten lbs to go and they say you loose that much when you stop breast feeding. So I guess we will see how that goes. I know I will loose at least that much if I ever get back into running. I lost 15lbs when I started running before. Well I gotta a lot well ok lets face it not a whole lot to do. Maybe I will go play guitar hero and play with my kid.

A few more pics!

We took a road trip yesterday. I really needed to get out of the house cause in a weeks time I had been out once. Wow that is crazy that I had only been out once. So we went to good old emery county.

We stopped by grandma and grandpa Wilsons first. So Im not so good with the picture thing. It would have been nice if I would have taken one of grandma and parker too. Oooops. Oh well next time right? It was really nice to visit with them and get caught up on what is going on with them. It was nice to see they were doing well. And grandma made parker an afhagan that was very nice. He will enjoy snuggling in it I am sure.

We then stopped at my moms which ended up being our last stop cause granny O came up to visit on her own. She seemed suprised to see that we were down so soon, but happy to get to see Parker.

Parker loved being spoiled by Grandma and mommy was happy to let Grandma do it cause that ment she got a nap. hehehe. Which was fantastic. Oh and we got fed some pretty good food. I must say that the mac and cheese Trent made was my favorite.

Upon arriving home we got a phone call from Jordans sister asking if her and Derek (Jordans brother) could come over. The only stipulation we gave them was to keep Parker awake while they were here. I must say they did a very good job, even though it didn't help at all. Parker has slept the worst of all the nights excluding the first night home. He has been the lightest sleeper tonight. The longest he slept in the craddle was 2hrs. Every other time he started crying in a matter of min. Thankful his dad took him till about 1am so I could catch up on some sleep. The deal is Jordan puts him to bed on nights he works then next day and then I take care of him the rest of the night. Hopefully that will work out well. That way I can get some sleep at the beginning of the night so I have the energy to take care of him in the early morning hrs. I just hope that tonight doesn't become a habbit. Not sure exactly what it is, maybe cause he slept alot more yesterday seeing how when he is in the car that is all he does is sleep. And grandma had a hard time waking him up. Ok so I got a little distracted, it was very nice to have Kara and Derek over, we hope they come over more often. And I guess its ok if Derek brings girls over. lol Parker is his new tool to get girls hehehe.

Parker Has Arrived!

I guess its about time!

(so I stole this one from my moms blog, BUT I LOVE IT)

Ok well I was hoping that I would be able to post some pics, but now luck. We lost the cord to the camera, so now pics just yet. Hopefully tomorrow. Well we have now been home since tuesday and its all a little crazy. The first night was the worst. I guess Parker wasn't getting enough to eat from the breast and he let us know it by NOT letting us put him down. By six am and no sleep I made Jordan go out and buy a bottle. It worked like a charm. One pink bottle and three oz of formula later Parke was sleeping like a baby, for FOUR hrs straight. Just enough time for mom and dad to get caught up on a little sleep too. All I can remember thinking through it all was this is not my baby. He hardly cried at all in the hospital. So thankfully I got my baby back. I have been pumping (not getting a whole lot at first) and we have been giving him formula. That pump is SUCH a life savor. At the risk of tmi, my nipples hurt way to bad. They are healing now and I feel much better. As long as I get enough sleep. When I get tired that is when I start going crazy and my mind starts racing. That is when Jordan takes Parker from me and tells me to go to bed. He is sooooo smart cause I always wake up much better.

I could never imagin how great it is to be a mom(or how hard it is either). My favorite thing in the whole world is to look at my son wether he is sleeping, just looking around, or yes even crying. Wide awake looking around is my favorite. It is so hard to think that that is what was moving around inside of me for so long, or that he came out of me even. It seems more like the stork brought him. But that is only because I was out cold when he finally came out of me. And for some reason I feel ok with that. I was SOOOO tired from labor that I appriciated the nap. And odd thing was I felt pretty good when they woke me up from it all. I do feel bad in the fact that I was pretty out of it and it all seems a bit like a dream. But here I am with this precious bundle of joy sitting here on my lap fast asleep. Which according to what every one tells me I should be too. I think I will see if he will awake and eat his bottle when I lay him down or if I can go back to bed. Pics will come soon I PROMISE!.
PS there is a really cute ticker at the bottom of my page now. I couldn't get it to fit on the side.
