Princess Parker!

HAHAHAHAHA!
This is what I found as I was getting ready to go shopping!

His new favorite thing to do is stick things on his head. Im sure Jordan will LOVE this one.

Ok this one I did help him out a little and get it on there right. He had it on his head like a crown at first.

and he is always putting hats on his head. His daddies are his favorite. This time we found one his size.

and this is what I found after his nap the other day. I tried getting pics of him sleeping but he got up too fast what a little stinker.

More Laundry Fun!

He decided to help daddy with the laundry last night. And put himself in the basket. Jordan says he did this all on his own. Hmmmm maybe some help from daddy? Maybe not. And yes he is crying! He doesn't like being locked up. Hopefully he will keep that in mind when he becomes a teenager.
Thank you all for your great comments on the previous post. They are all very helpful.

The Toddler Bed!

Ok Jordan and I have been thinking alot about moving pj to a toddler bed. Not the one shown. I just thought it was cute. And lets face it posts are much better with pics. So I've been doing a little research!

How and when should I move my toddler from a crib to a bed?

I like the idea of keeping them in the crib as long as possible. But you also want them to move on and not get attached to the crib like it says in the next article.

The Transition from Crib to Bed

Ok i like this article. 18 months does seem like a good time. And I do think that they should be in a new bed before they start potty training.

Crib to Toddler Bed: Easing the Transition

Ok this one gives some pretty good types to help them transition. However it requires alot of time and effort which I totally understand it would. It says to put the bed where the crib was. Well we are switching him rooms. hmmmmm
And NONE of them say exactly when a toddler is ready to be moved.
lets start with the pros and cons
Pro's
- We won't need to buy a pack n play (I would love to have one anyway, you know for trips and what not) we will have to buy a toddler bed any way cause Paisley will be using the crib when pj is done with it.
- I won't be able to lift pj out of the crib when the baby is born. So this will help.
- we will get the transitioning over with. And he will be in a toddler bed long before he starts potty training.
- you are welcome to add to the pro's or cons list in your comments. Actually I would love it if you would.
Con's
- He doesn't sleep, we don't sleep.
- to much change at once for him.
- I won't have as much control. (ie if I have to shower or get ready for something and its not his nap time I will put him in his crib to play. Its a safe place for him while I get my shower)
=a lot of the cons are what ifs. just as I am sure the pro's are too
We have no idea unless we try, right? But that doesn't stop me from having fears. Please leave me a comment with your ideas and support or what ever. I just need some idea's besides my own going thru my head.
Cause lets face it I don't have the best of thoughts right now. I won't bore you with my thoughts. Or scare you one of the two you take your pick. Just let me know what has worked for you and what has not. And what you think.

Hmmmm I think he still has a thing for my laundry! He was actually on top of the basket but he saw the camera coming.

WOW its been 5 days already!

Sorry these are pics I took of sara's photo bucket and I need to resize them. But they are so very cute!
I can't believe its been five days already since I last posted. And I don't even have any cute pics. Its getting WAY to hot for me. Maybe I should take a trip to the south pole or something hahaha. Most days I just wear my hair up in a pony tail, which makes me sad cause I don't get to use my new chi like I would like to. I straightened my hair today but I don't think I am going to last long with it down. I am REALLY wanting to chop off my hair but would LOVE to wait till after the baby gets here and its all falling out. Im sad to say I have more grey hairs than I can pluck! Which brings me to... Should I start dying it? Im going with no. To much money and time to keep it up. So I will be a proud grey haired person! I still have the guilty pleasure of pulling a few out here and there!

LESS than 70 days left! I am so tired of being pregnant and Im not even that close. I just feel huge. I can't breath very well. My tail bone is killing me most days. Im tired! I don't sleep well. (but probably better than I will be when the baby does get here) My hips hurt and I want to be able to lay on my belly or my back. Oh and I feel like Im see through! The other day I was changing and I noticed you could see like every vein in my body. I just looked like a network of rivers on a map. The veins on my arms were poking out. And thankfully my mom didn't see it cause Im sure she would want to poke them with a needle or something heheheehe. I haven't been retaining water YET! But I can feel my fingers, they just feel a little fatter. I never had that problem with pj. Ok enough complaining. I was noticing the difference between Paisley and Parker. They kick totally different. Pj LOVED to play with my ribs. Paisley likes my pelvis bone(or what ever that is) Pj felt like he was rubbing the inside of my tummy. Paisley feels like she is trying to kick her way out any way she can! Alot of times she feels like a fish flopping around in there. Check out my other blog for the material I bought for her quilt. I LOVE it. I LOVE that it has its PINK and John Deere, and that it has Paisley patches in it! I can't wait to see it made.

I now have a yellow and red kitchen! and the tile is DONE! I LOVE it thank you so much Jordan. He did that when we went to my moms the other week. I love it soooooo much. I love the tile and NOT having nasty dirty looking linolium!(sp?) We are thinking of down sizing our pond. More room for plants! Im thinking that is a good idea. Im soooo shocked our fish are still alive after the winter and they are growing and thriving! The garden is looking really good. I post on it on my other blog. So go check it out!

I've been working on alot of crafty things lately. Im working on christmas gifts, which I want to post but hmmm maybe shouldn't. Lets just say I get to do some glass etching. I haven't mastered that yet But will hopefully. That is why I have to start early so I can make them look good. hehehe plus Im not sure I'll have the energy to do them when that time comes. I found some GREAT buys at the di! One for Jordans fathers day gift. That didn't turn out quite like I wanted but I may have to redo it sometime after fathers day we will see. Oh I just thought of a much better idea. hmmmm mmm and the other one will be a gift too so Im not going to mention it too much. Its still in the works also. Im hoping it turns out good enough to give as a gift. If not I have some back up ideas. I found some pretty cute flowers at the dollar store and am going to make them into head bands for paisley or for wall decor in her room. Haven't decided yet. Im just waiting to find some buttons I really like. There are SOOOOO many great crafting idea's out there. I swear I find a new blog I like to follow every day. You can find the links on my other blog on the side bar! Which reminds me I have a few more I need to add.

Pj is getting so big. The other night I go up with him and rocked him to sleep I was in awe of how he doesn't really fit on my chest anymore. And he fills my lap and is spilling over. Time goes by WAY to fast. He is walking so much more these days. He still needs to figure out how to get on his feet with out anything to lean on, cause other wise he will just walk on his knees. He is starting to climb on things. Namely mommy and daddy! And I learned that last couple days he doesn't want to shove EVERYthing in his mouth at once. Which makes feeding him a little more difficult. Now he wants to have all the food out of his mouth before he takes another bite. Which is good cause I can give him a bit and then go work on dishes and feed him here and there. Other wise he just won't eat. But it does make meals last FOREVER! Oh well. Some day soon he will be able to feed himself completely. I probably should let him start trying some of the more messier foods. But lets face it who wants to clean up after meals all day?

Ok well that is my ramblings for the day. Thought I would leave a post since its been a few days and Im a slacker!
