The Kindness of a Stranger!

I decided I wasn't going to wait till tonight to go grocery shopping! (pj and I usually go on thursday nights) I just didn't want to deal with the crowds. Plus we were outta food and I was hungry! So I pile the kids into a shopping cart and grab another for the food. (better idea put paisley in her carrier so I only have to use one car, next time right?) Things actually went pretty well. Sissy slept cause it was her nap time and Pj always enjoys flirting with any girl he see's. That is until the cart got full and heavy. (Im a whimp)
On the way out I was really struggling and NO ONE who worked for walmart bothered to offer to help (that is a perk of going to an actual grocery store people are eager to help you out to your car) So here I am trying to pull two carts at once. This older lady stops and offers to push a cart over for me. Of course Im a little leary of this. You hear of bad things happening all the time. But I was really struggling and she was an older lady so I totally could have taken her if I needed too. She told me about how she use to have two kids and baby sit two kids she had to have two carts just for the kids. (WOW she was brave I would NEVER want to do that in my life) We got to the car and she offered to watch the kids while I put the groceries in the car. Once again leary but still thankful.
Its really awesome that there are still nice people in the world willing to help out. I felt bad for being leary after but I mean really I don't want to be one of those victims on the news.
So here is to Sherry and her kindness. Thanks so much even though you will never read this I am so very grateful!

It is totally refreshing to know that there are still acts of kindness out there. And with that said, we should all look for ways to help our fellow man/woman. I mean wouldnt the world be a better place if we could just be a good neighbor/friend. Not sure how the world got to this point. But it is up to each of us to find a way to make a difference. EVERY DAY! Thanks for the reminder Dusty, And yes thanks to Sherri too.

Thanks Sherry! I am really glad to still see people out there who are willing to help out what little they can.

Which now I feel totally horrible for not stopping and helping an older couple lift a couch into their truck :'(

That's really awesome! I'm always such a dumb oaf that I don't think to help others until I'm in my car driving away. How great you'll be able to pass it on!

Ok so I have totally been there... But...no help! just stares. I found a new way to get groceries! I got a moby wrap(love It for the second kid) Works better than any baby carrier out there ESPECIALLY for grocery shopping! Put the baby in the moby toddler in the cart. Whala baby even sleeps and you dont loose the extra cart space! best 40 bucks I have ever spent! Why does my comment sound like an infomercial? he he. Anyway check out the web site. www.mobywrap.com
