A few thoughts

I have been doing alot of thinking recently. I am just bothered by the way everything is going lately. They way we treat each other. And call each other names and are just so callous. I of all people am guilty of these very things. Boy am I judgemental, and for some reason I just can't stop thinking things like "what was she thinking wearing that?" it even happens at church. Ha sunday I the speaker had her sister sing a song with her and I was thinking "I thought we were only suppose to sing hymns in sacrament meeting" rather than focusing on what was being said I was so judgemental and it hurt me. In the fact that I left sacrament meeting not feeling like I should. Uplifted and enlightened.

I see judgement every where I go. I have been judged myself my whole life I am sure and I think it makes me afraid to be myself. To say or do the things I like. And now that I think about it I feel aweful for doing the exact same thing to others. Why are we so focused on everyone elses flaws and not on our strengths? Why are we so focused on whats wrong and not what we are doing right?

Its funny that my mind goes blank the min. I decide to write it all down. Im just so annoyed with all the negative things that are being said and done? We aren't going to have better lives and a better world till we start trying to see it thru others eyes. I have tried to do this alot in the path. And it really helps me to not get so angry. We all have reasons for the things we do. That is not to excuse the bad behavior. But I truely beleive that if we stop pointing fingers and start looking at our selves that is where the greatest changes occur. I have said time and again that you cant change someone else. The only person you can change is yourself. (this being said to some girl at work that is mad about something that has happened to her).

Where has compasion gone? I know its out there and I know that there are people all over the world serving others. Im just not seeing it from where I am. I see anger, revenge, hate, judgement, self pity, selfishness, pride, lack of concern for others, distrust, dishonesty, and the list goes on!

Just a reminder to myself that when I am annoyed with life and others in it to look from a different perspective. I also know I haven't been the best of person. So to all those who I have hurt I am sorry. I am trying to be a better person, and to be honest I do a pretty bad job at it. But I will continue to try and I will need to be reminded again and again and again I am sure.

I know this was probably boring. It wasn't writen well at all its just some of my random thoughts that maybe I should keep to myself and then again maybe not.

9 Month Check Up!

Head Circumference- 18.25 - 76%
Weight- 19lbs 13oz - 31.88%
Length- 27 1/4in He grew like a quarter of a in. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE - 8.67%
At 6months he was in the 69% for his lenght? I think they must have measure wrong a bit last time cause he is still growing out of his clothes. Oh well we have a short kid. hehehehe. With a big head hahahaha. All you who said he's grown into his head hahahaha.
He is a healthy boy. He got two shots I think his hep and the flu (which he gets to go back in a month for the booster hurray) He was pretty good thru the whole appt. He cried a bit after the shots but was even good for me while I went grocery shopping. Hurray. We tried some pasta today for lunch but he just gagged on them when he tried to swallow them Oh well, he probably needs more teeth or something. hehehe.

Trouble!

I had some pics on my camera that I forgot to post. Pj eating puffs in the morning!

He got one stuck on his chin and I thought it was sooo funny. He also gets them stuck to his fingers. Its so funny watching him point his finger and put it in his mouth.
He LOVES the vacuum cord.

And he gets tangled up in it all the time.

Hmmmm maybe I should be so lazy and just put it away hehehehe

This is the trouble he got into this morning.

As you can see he wanted the wipes. He LOVES those things too. He likes to pull them all out and have a party.

Unfortunately the plan back fired and he got stuck. Needless to say he wasn't happy mommy was taking pics and not helping him!

Ok now looking at the pics he looks so sad. But he wasn't when he was getting into the wipes and having fun.

Oh and did you notice he is half out of his pjs. I found him like that this morning too. I think he is getting to tall for them or they are just crap. I LOVE the ones my mom gave him. or one I thought there were two but maybe only one. Anyways they zip! So nice and I don't have to fight with him as much. Enjoy all the trouble pics. Oh and I totally had another one but didn't get it taken cause I didn't want him to unplug the computer. I went into the bathroom to start his bath water. He was clear over by the door. I come back in and he has crawled over the pillow I put infront of it and under the computer. He found an old blockbuster card and a pen he really wanted. Im just glad he didn't find all the computer cords. hehehehe

Major Update!

Its about time I got around to updating you all on our life. We have been very busy so there are quite a few pics thanks to my mom! Jordan and I weren't very good at taking pics at vegas cause we were just having to much fun.

This is the one and only pic I have of pj in his halloween costume. Hmmm just shows ya how much fun we had on halloween. We went to walmart pj and I to get some last min. things for our trip the next day. And I was impressed he left the horns on the whole time. He is such a doll.

On my bday we headed down to cleveland. We stopped off at Groggs to have a bday lunch at one of my favorite places. In this pic we are waiting for the car to be unlocked. We locked the keys in oooppppss. Oh well thankfully we had Grandpa there hehehehe!

Trent had Jake that day which was awesome cause we got to see him. Grandma, me, Pj, and Jake all we up to the park and had lots of fun there.


After the long hrs of driving we finally made it to Vegas. We got lost looking for The Hard Rock Cafe! Who knew it would be so hard to find. We met up there with Brandi and Dj for an over priced lunch. But it was SUPER nice to see Brandi and Dj, and catch up with them. We headed to our hotel from there. We stayed at the South Point and its a pretty nice hotel. This is Jordan before we headed out on monday. We should have taken before and after pics cause we were exhausted when we got back.

We ate at the MGM Grand Buffet. Iwouldn't recommend it. To much for really not that great of selection. And to top it all off the lions weren't out. hehehe

We went to the M&M factory. and watched the 3d movie.

We went to see Phantom of the Opera! (a gift from pj) It was AWESOME! Go see it if you can. I loved it!
Mean while back in Cleveland Pj was having TONS of fun and sleeping thru the night for Grandma and Grandpa. (He didn't do that for mom and dad the night before or last night. hehehe)

He LOVED that teddy bear. When we were there he would crawl up to it and try to crawl onto it. Grandma said he spent alot of time with it while we were gone. And of course he had TONS of toys to play with. Im sure he had no idea what to play with first cause he doesn't have near that many at home!
It was so nice to come home and see our little bug. Grandma said he whistles and well we just didn't believe her. He did it a few times when we got home last night. So we now believe her hehehe.

Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for babysitting!

Jordan registered for classes last night. Its awesome that he is almost done with his first semester. And he is doing so well.

And we still have more going on this week...

The Utah football game. GO UTES! We are going thursday night, thankfully we have had a few people volunteer to baby sit so we don't have to bring pj. Thanks to all those who help us out with him!
