We survived!

Not sure about Jordan yet!
He isn't home yet.
But the kids are in bed and I've got a movie going!
I hate being home alone all day.  But I think we did really well.  Jordan had inventory today and we will see about tomorrow.  My first day completely by myself well with out Jordan.  (Im spoiled arent i?)  We had lots of fun.  We had pancakes for breakfast, and while Pai took a nap Pj and I watched Meet the Robinsons. (great movie) after lunch we dropped  ok well Im sure you don't want to know our complete schedule.  I even felt good enough ( Im pretty sure I got a cold from work)  to clean my kitchen.  I let pai eat some cookies after her dinner, she was a mess, but she sure did enjoy her bath!  Ok so this is really turning into a boring post.  Going to watch my movie!  Hope you enjoy the pix!

TIme out!

"Parker you can not hit your sister or climb over the top of her, go to time out"
Usually he goes right there but recently he has become more defiant and I find my self using treatment words. I can't even remember what I said to him but I KNEW the min I said it I work to much and he wouuld never understand it!
This particular day he decided he would just chill out in Time Out!
Of course I had a hard time not laughing.
So we have been putting pj in time out for a while. One day I did it because he was hitting and fighting me cause he didn't want to get out of the car. It was all I could think of short of spanking him. (which sometimes he does get a spanking, not cause I think its the best idea I just loose my patience) And to my suprise he stayed. So we have been doing time out ever since.
A little back ground to the time out. I remember before Jordan and I got married we would play a little game. One would ask a question and we had to honestly answer it. So the question came up how we believed we should disipline kids. We were both on the same page. Spanking was the way to do it. I mean that is how we were both raised and we turned out great (didn't we?) Now that we have our kids, our decision has changed. Not because we have anything against the way we were raised. We just came to the conclusion if we want to teach them not to hit, is it really a good idea to hit them? Probably not! So time out it was! And I feel its working very well. He knows that he needs to go directly to time out if he hits or we tell him to. And he knows that after he has to say sorry and we all get loves.
Sometimes he makes it very hard for me to stay serious. Usually its a fit but recently, Pai seems to sit there and taunt him and he just screams at here. (see next post) My favorite thing about this video is he looks over at me to see if Im looking before he goes on the touch Pai with his foot. And as seen in the previous photos I mean how can you stay serious when you see that?
Hope you enjoyed our time out pix and video!

We Love the Park!

We've been going to the park alot lately, and it oh so much fun.'
Pai loves the swing!
I think Pj just likes being outside!

Pj also loves the swing! Which he hated last year. At first he was a bit hesitant but now he loves it. Especially under dogs (of sorts)
He wanted to wear a hat just like daddy. At least until we got to the park!
I absolutely love this pic1
this one is good too!
and he loves playing peek a boo thru these holes
Pai even took part in our little game!
We are really enjoying the warm weather and are spending alot more time outside. We go on walks and its pretty funny. I look down and Pj has his arm around Pai. The next time I look down he is choking her hahaha! Other than playing out side we haven't been up to much. We had to purchase a new computer cause ours got a virus. Its 2 years old so obviously its time. We got a little netbook. It does the job and was in our price range. Plus Jordan can take it to school with him now too. Life is going pretty good. Im not really looking forward to the heat of summer but at least this year I won't be preggo! And we sure are looking forward to the fun times that will be had out side!

Easter!

We didn't do much on easter, but we sure did have fun the few days before. Friday before we colored eggs. As you can see Jordan expressed his feelings about byu in his egg coloring!
And here was our lovely work (sorry going back wards) We forgot and left the eggs out so we didn't get to enjoy them but it was fun coloring them.
Pj seemed to enjoy it!
Daddy pretending not to enjoy it. Maybe has something to do with me putting coloring on his cheek.
He LOVED smashing the egg in the cup!
We had an easter egg hunt with my family at Sara's house and had a blast. Pj and Pai both got sunday outfits for eatser. (they will get to wear them this sunday, hopefully I will remember and take pix)
